Tube worm? Invasive!

These tube worms are killing my zoos. Very slowly but surely. They are spreading. They retract into their tubes very rapidly if disturbed. They fluoresce a light green under the 14k. Was wondering if anybody knows what it is and how to go about removing them. Thanx.

Feather dusters would not be killing your zoas. You may have colonial hydroids which can. I am looking at the picture on my phone so I can't tell if that is what it is. So google colonial hydroids and hopefully that isn't what you have.

Looks like hydroids to me. I removed mine with a utility knife and tweezers

yea they are hydroids. I have been fighting them for a couple years
