Tube worm staying in tube

My tube worm has been "hiding" in his tube for about 24 hrs now except for a brief 5 min excursion last night. Should I be worried or is this a normal behavior? Up to now, it was out almost 24/7.

Don't let it worry you, it's normal...mine had stayed in his tube for 2 days straight once, which kinda scared me, but he's out often now.

Is there anything in the tank that you can see that is annoying it at all?
And at this point I wouldnt worry to much mine used to do the same thing from time to time, just make sure nothing is picking on it..
