turbo replacement

so my turbo has been pretty good about bumping into things for a while now... but today i look in my tank to see my garf bonsai almost burried in the sad with my turbo on top of the frag plug... the one that was JJUUSSSTTTT starting to colour up and show its purple... :frustrat:
so i tossed him in the 55 which is probably better for him anyway.
now however im realizing he was my best glass cleaner and there will be a difference without him... any suggestions as to a smaller counterpart that does an equal job at cleaning glass?

Algae scrubber? More waterchanges? Epoxy to hold stuff onto your rocks? Most snails/crabs will knock stuff over.

Astraea snails tend to stay on the glass and don't knock stuff over, really. But they also don't do as good of a job as turbos.

Mine are always on the glass but, you'd never know since they don't really touch the film algae.

Nope, my nerites will leave trails of clean glass behind them but, not my astreas.

Mine do, too. But there's so much surface area that it really doesn't make that much of a difference...
