Turbo snails out of food?

The turbos and hermits have eaten most of the algae and now they have taken to eating off each others backs. If there's little algae left on the rock are they running out of food?

Also what do turbos eat? (My hermits love a little piece of see weed).

Turbos will eat seaweed sheets, but often will have a hard time finding them. Your best option is to return a few to the LFS or give them to someone else if you think they are at risk of starving.

sell them back, it is the best way IMHO. I hate to keep animals the will just die in my tank

They like canned spinach. Some people keep a few rocks in mixed marine water sitting in direct sun light in one gallon glass jars just to grow food for tank herbivores. Just rotate rocks. Water top off, a little flake food and an occasional wipe down of the glass walls is pretty easy maintenance.
