    +1 smitty...qtip sponges...I've got a few of those. Harmless filter feeders.

    I thought that might be waht there were. I was hoping they were harmless, because I think they look nest. Thanks for the replys!!

    those dont look like qtips but they are sponges nonetheless.

    The pic on the right is a type of ball sponge.
    the one on the left,I have no idea of the name.But you dont want to touch it bare handed or break it off then stick your arm in the tank.It'll release some kind of chemical that will make you itch like you've never itched before.
