UFO (un-identified fish object)

Either good or bad, this beast is no longer in my tank. I was cleaning my glass and I saw this sucker perched on my rock. This "thing" is 1/2 to 3/4 inch long. Kind of creepy. My guess is a large chiton. I would have let it be, but it was too large for my liking.

Anyone know what this is?

I got several in my tank.There great algae grazers,plus will change colors to blend in with the rock.

I have a bunch too, but never that big. Usually they are only 1/8".

I've got a couple thats right at 1-1/2".But they usually stay on the rock or the back glass.Kinda hard to spot on the rocks.They blend in good.
