Today I installed a GFCI outlet where my tank is located and plugged everything into a surge protector with a 3100 Joule rating to boot. Had a couple instances where something in the 15 year old wiring in this house would throw the breaker. I haven't been able to pinpoint the exact cause but I figured that the upgrades wouldn't hurt.
