    Update NY
    Hello,

I am fairly new to saltwater. I started my first tank a little over a year ago and it is still a work in progress. My current setup is a 40 g breeder setup with a 3" sand bed, about 30 lbs or live rock, a powerhead, 1 10000k 24" and 1 antic, and a fluval 305 canister. I have a black clown fish, a neon blue damsel, yellow tailed damsel and a cow fish along with 5 bumblebee snails, 2 turbo snails, 3 blue legged hermit crabs and a red legged hermit crab currently. I am hoping to turn a 20 gal tank into a sump and build a custom stand here shortly and upgrade my lighting as well. I started off wanting a FOWLR setup and now would like to slowly get my way into corals.

Hello and Welcome to the site!

We would love to see pictures of your setup! I dont want to get started on a bad foot, but the cow fish needs a much larger tank, like 180+ gallons
