I am using cupramine to treat my sick fish and since tank is qt and not cycled, I added aqua clears ammonia chip filter bag to my HOB filter. This isn't replacing waterchanges, but hoping if would provide a cushion for error. Are they safe to use while treating a tank with copper? Will the ammonia chips remove the copper? Advice appreciated!

Shouldn't remove the copper, however I have no idea how this will affect affect the tank, or the effectiveness.

I'm not sure I'm following this...I responded to your other thread. Are you in the middle of a cylce? Do you have fish in that tank? Or are we talking about a spearate tank (qt) form your display tank?
