UV and Ozone Questions

So I have been reading up on these types of products and was wondering if they make a difference and if they are worth the price.

ozone should help break down organic matter and clear up your water. You will need a generator, probably an air dryer, an orp probe to monitor it and idealy a controller to turn the generator on and off as needed. Ozone can be dangerous to both you and your tank if you don't understand it or know what you are doing so read up. Randy has written some really good information on it.

UV is a better way to go if your main goal is sterilization. The ozone would have to be pumped up higher than you would typically want in order to kill parasites.
