Water change question......temp is geting screwed up

Well I need to change some water in the 55gal and my question is How Is The Best Way????......If I pore room temp salt water I made up it screws with the temp and I need that as stable as possible......So do I need to buy a heater to stick in my 5 gallon bucket to get it up to temp????.....I have a big water change coming up(getting rid of cyno I hope) and dont want to stress everything out when My temp goes down a few till the new water gets stirred up

A heater would work fastest, however you can drip (a fast drip) the "new" water over the course of a couple of hours without any problems.

If you are doing a small water change, the new water being a little colder than the tank water shouldn't have much of an effect at all. Most people use a small heater to bring up the new water to the correct temp overnight.
