Water ? from Newb

I do not have an RO or RO/DI system for water but I was wondering about distilled water, is this acceptable as I have access to a water distiller.

distilled water is fine, but in a short amount of time you will be have spent enough to buy a RO/DI filter

Make sure the water isn't being distilled through copper lines.
