It might or might not. Depends on how long the coral has been under that light and if its starting to give up or not.

I know, and it took me a bit to figure this out, but the reason it looks like crap is because you are using tap and have a mini cycle going on.

i bought a 200gallon box of instant ocean reef crystals instead of the regular instant ocean is that any better

probably. I suspect because its their reef product it has all the trace elements need to keep corals.

How many do you have?

I would try and distrube the flow evenly across the tank.

ok i have a 75 gallon tank 48" long i just got 2 new hydor 1050gph there on the back glass wall upper corners facing front glass at angles so the top left one is pointing down a little to the right and opposite for the right one which would point down to the left

so the water may meet together in the middle from both pumps if you get that

Sounds fine, just make sure that there is some ripple of the surface so you have good gas exchange

ya the top is always moving i heard of getting a protein skimmer but i have no clue which kind to get or what there for i heard there good for getting any extra shit floating in the water and extra food that doesnt get eatin

ya, the is exactly what to do, and by doing so they give you a higher water quality.

I would check out the reef octopus skimmers, they are the best you can buy for the money. Be wary of cheap skimmers, they are cheap skimmers if you get my drift. Skimmer really are a commodity that you get what you pay for.

Look into building an algae scrubber then, much cheaper, and they work just as good as a skimmer but in a different way.
