Deffinetly a newb. question but I tried the search and didn't find much. What is the best temp to keep my aquarium at? My thermometer. reads 80*. But the water seems kinda cool to the touch. How does your water feel?

    Thanks

You should get a second thermometer, just for backup. Thermometers can go bad (especially the little black liquid ones and digital ones) so if you have a backup you can always double check it. Mine ranges between 78 and 80.

80 degrees is fine as long as you do not fluctuate more than 2 degrees either way within 24 hours. just a tip to help.
