Dec 27, 2013 #2 Nasoguy118 Reefing newb I try and keep my temp at 77-80 but I think most fish can stand temps up to 86 but I'm not sure on that. Do you have a glass top, what's the room temp, is your sump open?

Dec 27, 2013 #3 Smitty Reef pro As long as the temp stays consistent at that temp, it's ok. The average temp of some ocean coral reefs are around 82*. Consistency is the key.
