wave maker or a pump that can go on and off constantly

I run Maxi-Jet pumps on timers for months at a time. They shut on and off every 15 minutes for 8hrs a day. Never had a problem. Slap a Hydor rotating head on the outlet of a M1200 and ya got yourself a lot of random flow. :bounce:

so if i plug one of those into a wavemaker to go on and off like every 10 seconds it would work.

i might try those too. you cant have enoughf flow. could i hook those up to any wave maker. i want to make it go on off every 10 seconds

Click on the link I sent you. Then click on more information. It says you can control 2 power heads on and off from 20 seconds to 6 minute intervals, with the 3rd going 40 second to 6 minute intervals. And you can use nay powerhead you have.

Actually the power strip is a "wave maker". You just plug your powerheads into it.
