weird little brown bugs

i have not been able to find any results after extensively searching for different marine tank critters and pests.. but nothing looks like or sounds like these. when i look very carefully at my glass, i can see thousands of almost microscopic brown worm things. if i focus on one it eventually moves in a squirming motion. they cant be more than .25 mm in length so they are much smaller than copepods and dont move the same way. my camera is broken so ill need to borrow a friends good camera to get a picture. the only thing that i can think of is an impossibly small flatworm?

sounds like it might be. I had some impossibly small flatworms as well. Do you see the little horns and a spot in the middle?

no they are uniform in colour, and they look like a skinny football shape if that makes sense... like a little worm.. they may have horns but they are way too small to detect with the naked eye. i need to get a good macro pic to examine them more closely
