well my brothers in the hospital waiting for surgery and its me josh and i have a question i have put in snails and hermit crabs in my tank yesterday and i turned on the lights today and it looks like there all dead. is this normal for them to do this and i have another question my Mexican turbo snail keeps flipping himself over so they flip them selves back over?

Did you acclimate them? How and how long? How long has the tank been running? Have you tested the water? What are the results?

yes i did acclamte them and my test are normal and i have had the tank 4 about 6 months

Can you be more specific as to why they look like they're dead? Sometime hermits and snails will just sit around and not move much or even come out of the shell. Especially when you first turn the lights on. What was the process you used to acclimate them to the tank?

ok than there alive i just saw a couple move around mabey the other ones will wake in a lil bit and i floated them than i put a half a cup of water in every for min

They should be ok...just a bit sluggish in the morning.
