wet/dry sump filter

    how often do u guys clean out the sump and what parts do u clean? mine has a pull out tray for the foam pad and it has been runing for a month now with a bag full of carbon right next to the return pump

    clean out all mechanical filtration every 10 days or more, clean protein skimmer once per week, and siphon out any settled detritus in the sump at least every 2 - 4 weeks. hope this helps.
