What are some good brands and sizes

for my 35 gallon tank? What protein skimmer, heater, power heads, etc?

dont know either of those brands.

the powerheads look a little cheap, but go for it. you can always add more or upgrade later.

how deep is your tank? what are you planning on keeping? soft corals, lps, sps, clams?

i beleive with that wattage you could could lps and softies. maybe sps way up top. but i dont know about that brand.

I plan on doing lps and maybe sps up top like you said. I'm not sure how deep my tank is. I am getting 2 firefish, 1 tailspot blenny, 1 jawfish, 1 clown fish.

What powerheads would you recommend?

protein skimmer... are you drilled or you going to hang on back?

heater...i was always told to go with one that the control for it was seperate than the actual titanium tube. i went with via aqua

power heads.. koralia is what everyone says. they are held by magnets through the glass, dont have to worry about suction cups or falling. downside is that if you want to use a wavemaker later on then these wont work too well because they will burn up from being turned on and off so often.

for one thing, make sure you dont add all those fish at once. do it gradually

Yeah I planned on doing this whole process gradually. I was going to get a HOB skimmer.
