Droskie, I had my 10g on a similar table with it hanging over on the edges. Went to home depot and in their closets department they have solid wood shelving pieces that you can buy and then put it on top of the table to support your tank. They're really inexpensive and a quick fix!

Far nicer looking! And level (plywood can sometimes be warped) - here's a pic of mine



I think it was like $6, and they also had lighter coloring that would probably match the table you have yours sitting on!

so after not doing anything for awhile im actually gonna downsize to a 10 gallon and make it a one nem one clown fish tank (it will be the dog ive always wanted in my room lol) ive done enough studying to where as i think i can handle it...ill post pics soon

downsized to a 15 gallon gonna fill it up 2m, do i need new sand or can i use the same sand from the 20 gallon? also do you guys think a 4 bulb fixture would be to much light for a tank thats only a foot deep like my 15 gallon??

You can use the same sand...no reason you can't as there was never any livestock in the 20g.
Idk about the light. seems fine to me but im not sure.
