What do Copepods Eat?

Title pretty much says it all, what do they eat? Do they survive off of any algae present in the tank? Or is it a certain type they need?

they just eat the left over food and what not in ur system, they don't need to be fed

Phytoplankton and zooplankton in the water column. Tiny little microscopic critters.

Film algae,diatoms,phytoplankton and detritus.

And dissolved organic compounds. Basically the same things as filter feeders, such as sponges, eat.
