What is this? How can i ger rid of it?

    I have 3 turbo snails, 2 nassarius snails, 1 fire shrimp and 1 hermit crab and still have this. What is it and how can i get rid of it without hurting my corals or my fish?:question:

    sounds like your going through new tank sendrome how old is your tank? if your tank is new it will eventually go away.

    eventually it will go away. every tank goes through it..
    did you just upgrade your lights or anything also?

    Looks like dinoflagalates, check out the other 2 threads here (mine and andysgirl's) I am still dealing with mine.

    When my tank first stopped cycling 2 years ago. I put 2 huge fist sized hermits in my tank and they kept it clean -I never had a huge algae war.
