What is this maroon stuff overtaking my tank?

    It's spreading like crazy and is crusting over my coral frags and starting to kill them. It's sponge like in texture and has occasional small air bubbles releasing. It started slowly but has picked up speed in growing and spreading. It's dense and doesn't brush off. I have a cleanup crew and do at l east 15% water every week. Tank is 90 gallons. I use natural ocean water and have a UV ster.

    If you cannot easily brush it off then it is probably not cyano. I've never seen anything quite like that and it doesn't look like red turf algae. Can you get a super close up of it?
