I have this weird hitchhiker on my acan and it releases a weird cobweb of slime or something once in a while. Looks like some kind of tube worm or something.
What is this thing?

It's a vermetid snail Dennis,a sessile snail that uses the cobweb to grab food particles,then it reels it in.Harmless,unless the webs keep the corals from opening.A little kalk paste or superglue gel will kill them.
