what is this?

it is a small ( only about 1cm in size) red and branches off like a tree.
came on live rock and possibly algae

If it is a gorgonian ,its not only safe,but a cool addition.I've got one that was just a twig stuck to chunk of live rock.Now its 10" or so with 5 full bushy branches.

If you get a better picture it'll be easier for us to judge. Keep in mind yote only has one good eye, :mrgreen: though he is correct 99.9% of the time.

If it's not a gorgonian, it could be some Red Kelp, but I think a gorgonian seems more likely.
