Found this tube looking thing this evening.... Is it good or bad ?

That's a feather duster -- good. People will pay good money for big ones in the store. They tend to spread, and are beautiful when they form little "gardens". They don't require any special care.
 
Good, thanks Biff.... The fish will swim by it and it goes in. Then it will come back out. Glad it's a good thing.
 
Cool, I always wanted one, this one didn't look like the one at the LFS. I will make sure I feed it when I feed the others. Oh, and my little orange mushroom that keeps moving around, he's on the move AGAIN !!!!!! Wish he would stay put...
 
that feather duster might not ever get much bigger than it is right now. There are different types of dusters just like everything else. Most of the hitchhickers we get end up being small one.

Is the tube hard shelled or soft? The white part leads me to think it might be hard. If so it is a Coco Worm. Feather Duster Worms have a soft shell casing.
