What is this?

Its in the middle of the Mushrooms. It almost looks like seaweed but its not soft, its stiff, thin and branches out.

It looks like some kind of SPS coral from what I can tell.Looking at how expanded the mushrooms tells me that there is probably not enough light to sustain it for long.It already looks brown out from lack of strong lighting.

Sponges can still be stiff. They don't have to necessarily be soft.

I guessed sponge because that's what it looks like.

I dont think its a coral. Its started growing out of the rock about a year ago. Ive had that rock for about 4 years.
