What is this???

My daughter has moved out to So CA and sent me a picture of something she saw while walking along the waters edge. For the life of me I can't figure out what it is. The other amazing thing is that she took the picture with her Iphone. Help me out on what this is.

looks like a rock flower nem to me, but for sure some type of nem. Very beautiful picture

I know it's some kind of anemone, not sure which kind.
I see those all over the rock pools here in So Cal.
A lot of kids poke and harass them because they are sticky... little bastards
