I got some live rock and one of the rocks had this polyp like things all over. hmm these live rocks were pulled straight out of sea so I got no idea what it is?

definitely looks like it.

If it has 12 tentacles on each polyp it is alveopora if it has 24 tentacles it is goniopora.
