What kind of algae is this...

    And how do I get rid of it... It came on the LR I bought... Shhould I keep my lights off... What else? My tank is cycling right now so what to do after... Thanks in advance... Oh and what kind of rock is this...

    What kind of algae is it?
    Since your cycling,your pretty much feeding any algae thats in there right now.Not much you can do about that.
    Just cut the lights off and give it a few days.

    About all you can do is cut back or not have the lights on at all.

    Its hard to say what kind of rocks.The first looks like Fiji and the second looks like dead coral skeleton.Maybe a type of Fiji branch or Tonga branch.
