What kind of crab is this?

He's small, has a red or pinkish shell, but zebra striped legs. anyone know of this kind of crab? and is he safe? I'd post a picture, but he doesnt stick around long enough for me to get a shot.

if you have any acro corals in the tank and if he lives in the coral then i would say its an acro crab.

well i have no coral at the moment, so he lives in the crevice of one of my rocks. he's pretty small.

Probably wont get a good ID on that crab without a pic.But if you'll look at the tips of the claws,you can get an idea if its safe or not.
If the pinchers are pointed and sharp,its most likely a predator.If their blunted and cup shaped,then there is a good chance its fairly safe.
