What kind of fish is this?

i caught a fish today and acclimated it into my tank. i dont know what it is but i was hoping that any of the experts might know:D.

Looks like it could be related to a hawkfish of some kind. I really don't know. Where did you catch it?

looks more related to the cardinal family to me..

Hard to say. Unfortunately, I only have a fish encyclopedia from the Red Sea, not from Guam :)

maybe a better picture would help? ill try to borrow my friends camera. im going to research on cardinal and hawkfishes, thanks for the replies
