what kind of gorg aND whats looks wrong with it

It looks like a purple bush gorg

They can be some of the more challenging corals the keep in this hobby. Check out the requirements in the above like and try to move it to an area that suits it better, however dont automatically move it to the top of the tank, you can burn them that way. Remove the dead dying areas by cutting it with shears. Also you should talk to Picasso (one of the members on this site) she nursed a few gorgs back to health.
