    well for now im going to just start with the live-rock i have and some fish with a small cleanup crew but hope to get some soft corals going at some point after i get a better filter setup

    a 4 bulb t-5 fixture would be good for everything you would want.

    Welcome to the site...I'd recommend a 4 bulb t5 fixture also.
