Can any one tell me whats on my rock in the middle of the pic. today is the first time ive seen it. it came out when i feed my fish plankton for first time . i was thinking its some sort of tube worm but wanted to be safe.

Anyway you can get a close-up.Maybe without the flash and with the lights on.You are talking about the thing with the two antennae,right?

Does it move around?

yea it goes in and out the same hole in the rock. i have 4 in the same rock in different places.it has more then 2 antennae but thats either all that showed up in the pic or all that was out at the time.

my guess would be speggetti (sp?). Harmless. check and see if they come out at night.

If the antennae is coming out of a tube...I thought it maybe a vermetid snails otherwise I have no clue.Check here for possible identification.
