What's up with Garlic?

Every once in a while I will read some about feeding garlic or mixing it with food. Can I ask why this is done? Should I be doing it? I currently us reef frenzy should I mix it up with that? Just want a healthy thriving tank. Thanks

Garlic basically adds enticement for fish to eat. People do it to help get their sick or finicky fish to eat and it does seem to work. Some claim garlic boosts immune systems and all that jazz but I am not in that group. If your fish are healthy and eating well then there is no need to use garlic, IMO.
