Picked up a Starburst Green Polyp colony and this is dead center of it. (orange thing) Any ideas? Yes, thats the best picture I can take!

Looks like sponge to me, too. POKE IT.

I think it's a sponge. Just leaving it alone. Hopefully it will survive until my new lights get here at the end of the month.

The sponge is non-photosynthetic, so lighting shouldn't be an issue. They are filter feeders.
