Whelk ID?

Added a slew of CUC to my tank, and 3 of these came from the wood works and started crawling all over my snails. I'm guessing that they are opportunistic feeders, on snails. Are they Cantharid Whelks? They all looked exactly the same. Please advise if I should remove. Thanks!

I've heard em called trumpet snails before.But yes,they are snail predators and should be removed.
