Where'd they go!?

Reefing newb
I had a nice little colony of Zoa's growing on a ledge near my Zoa rock is. Like 19 heads. Now, this morning, they are GONE. Not a trace. Nothing. I don't have any crabs and all my fish are "reef safe". Would a turbo snail eat them?

Found them! It appears they got knocked off and were under a ledge. I moved them to another location but I'm not sure they will get enough light. how do I attach them?

Isn't Super Glue Cyanoacetate? As in cyanide? Wouldn't this be REAL bad for your tank? I know that for the CA glue I use in woodworking it is STRONGLY suggested to use it out doors or in a forced air exchange environment. The fumes from that stuff, over time can really mess your up.

Super glue gel is perfectly safe to use in a reef tank -- I don't think it has anything to do with cyanide. You can use it out of the tank, or apply it underwater and let it cure underwater. You can also apply it to the corals directly to get them to attach to rocks.

hey guys not to hijack this thread or anything but would this glue be safe to use underwater?

Super glue is safe. It is actually cyanoacrylate. They use a type of it in medicine to glue together cuts instead of using stitches.

good to know i was looking at that one as well...this may be a stupid question but is there a difference between super glue and super glue gel? is one better or safer then the other or just diff names? is there a diff between lets say this [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Henkel-Loctite-4-Gram-Control-01-30622/dp/B0002YXG64/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1326749355&sr=8-1]Amazon.com: Henkel Loctite 4-Gram Super Glue Control #01-30622: Home Improvement[/ame]
and this?

Super glue gel is just a bit thicker. Regular super glue is too runny and won't stick well. Just make sure it's the gel kind, and you will be fine. You can get any brand you want -- even no-name dollar store packets of 10 of them work fine.
