white golf ball like ?sponge?

I know a lot of threads i yellow fuzzy balls as sponges and I think I have one of those but there's also a bigger (about the size of a quarter) white ball that is not fuzzy but almost has a spiderweb pattern on it. Are they both sponges? and are they harmless? I know the aiptasia is not but their proving difficult to eradicate.

they look like sponges to me. They are probably flourishing in the nutrient heavy waters that are common after a tank move
