White lines on glass help? Pic inside.

I have had this tank setup for 2+ years and within the last 3-6 months I've been getting these weird white lines all over the glass. I leave the algae on the back glass because my CCS likes to munch on it from time to time and that's where these things are. There are like millions! They wipe off the other sides easily enough when I'm scrubbing algae. Any idea of what they are? I also have some live rock in there that it could have come from.

Maybe snail eggs? Do they look like snowflakes? If so, that'd be hydroids.

Snail eggs usually look like a long squiggly line, not like your picture, but other than that, I'm at a loss.

I have no snails in the tank. They are like millions of little tiny tube worms but with no worms in them. They are about as thick as a piece of hair. Also they don't move. I looked around on the net and couldn't find anything.

EDIT: Forgot to say that the black vertical line in the picture is a power cord for size comparison.

do a search for foramorafins (spelling?) there are tons of different types of them. they are harmless filter feeders.
