why is my sea anemone getting smaller please HELP!!!

I have a 29 BC and it has been up and running for about 10 months.

I have had 2 sea anemones for about 7 months one got really small and never saw it again
that was about 2-3 months ago. Now the other one is doing it.

All my levels are in check and I have not got any thing new for about 7 months.

I do have a sponge that started to rot from the inside out about half way through the sponge
would that do anything.

This is a really cool anemone so I would to save it.

Are you feeding it? If so what and how often?

Is your bc a hqi? Lighting is very important.

If you have compact flourescent bulbs on your cube that is a big problem. That is the norm the anemone will last 6-8 months and then start melting away. If you listed your parameters that would help in ruling out other issues.

What kind of anemone do you have?
