Wierd snail/slug Is it Bad???

I discovered a snail/slug in my tank and i was wondering if its a PEST? It is tan, white in color and has 2 long antennas. it looks like a slug, but it has a flat shell on its back. Also, today it crawed onto one of my corals, then started bursting out a clear fluid with little black specks in it. Are these eggs!?:shock: Any idea of what it could be?:question: Thanks

That is a stomatella snail. They are totally reef safe and are good guys. It sounds like it was either pooping or...jizzing... :shock:

Highly unlikely. It's difficult for them to successfully breed in captivity. They are too easily eaten by other animals and the conditions have to be just right.

Mine are multiplying in my refugium.. think they hitched in on some rubble I threw in.. started with just one I could find now up to about a dozen or more.. that I can see anyway.. going to move a few into the display...:Cheers:
