will this grow cheato?

I got a clip on led desk lamp today to light my aqua clear fuge. It has 24 1.44 watt leds and puts out 200 lumens. Will cheato grow well under this?

It should.

It may, but you might be better off with just a regular CFL 'Daylight' bulb. They screw into a standard light socket and they run about $3.00 for the bulb

Yea but I only have a couple inches underneath the cabinets to fit a light in there. I found a little led light online but is rather buy something at the store.

I have two bulbs on my cheato, in case one burns out while I am away for the weekend. Also, don't forget that cheato needs strong flow. I have a 300 gph for my fuge.

A lot of people have converted the aqua clear powerfilters in fuges and haven't had a problem right? I mean with the flow.
