So got my new lights today.

I also ordered my octo HoB Skimmer, Should i even bother running my filter anymore til the skimmer gets here?

Yote whats your take on the canister filter?

I'd go a head and unhook it.But I wouldnt get rid of it.There will be times when you'll want to run carbon or GFO,and the canister will be handy for that.

Oh you aint seen nothing yet.Give it a week or 2 with those new lights and you'll have algae comeing out your ears:mrgreen:

That cool. I have been supplement feeding my CuC since i haven't had any algae is awhile. Btw What cleans the brown algae off the glass? Its hard for me to reach it with the magnet. Was hoping to find a snail,fish,star that would eat it.
