worms - good or bad?

I turned off the pump and all fans to feed my coral tonight and noticed a couple worms skimming across the top of the water. I was able to scoop them up with the turkey baster feeder thing and wanted to know if they are good or bad for my tank.

Pictures did not turn out well, but works are about 1/4" long and dark in color.

Thoughts?

Well depends on the worm...some are just evil...others depends on who you ask...they could be good or they could be bad...some people don't mind them in their tank some people go to crazy lengths to get rid of them...so I guess what I'm saying is that first we need to figure out what kind of worm you have then we can go from there...try looking up a picture online then posting it to the tread.
