Would this be enough lighting?

That fixture does not have individual reflectors, so it's not a high quality light. What kind of corals would you like to keep under it?

I have that same fixture but im upgrading....it will work but u wont be able to keep sps and other light demanding corals, thats why im upgrading

Any lighting suggestions? Something cost effective yet quality? I know they don't go hand in hand in this hobby but any suggestions would be great thank you. Would you be able to keep an anem under this lighting?

How about LED lighting, anyone know much about it? Like how can it be so little wattage yet still be good for a reef?
If you're talking about needing a certain amount of watts per gallon, then that doesn't really work anymore. That method of thinking is really dated and doesn't work with newer technology out now. The watts is the amount of power the bulb uses but, per watt MH puts out more light then PC/T5, LED/Plasma puts out more usable light then MH.

Usually it will state if it is for a reef system or for lighting the tanks(non-reef).Even for LEds.it stil going to take good amount of bulbs to light a reef system.
