Wow! Does anyone use Giesmann Bulbs?

When money dictates so, I will upgrade my lighting on my 65g (primarily LPS) from the 2 bulb Nova Xtreme to a 4 or 6 bulb fixture, yet TBD... It's been about 9 months up and running, so I changed the bulbs out the Actinic and 10K, and replaced with Giesmann Actinic + and True Actinic. OMG! The color's of the corals are spectacular, particularly the greens in the Duncan and Torch. I can't wait to see what they will look like with a new fixture and more bulbs! These bulbs put out far more intensity than the stock bulbs I had.

Does anyone use these? What do you use, and what combinations?

I used to use Gmann, im rollin with ATI's now. Yea they make a big differance. Glad your happy with them and cant wait to see pix when u get your new fixture.

Probably the best T5 for high par is the ATI Blue Plus. So if you like blue and like PAR, get that one. I wasn't as impressed with the equivelant Geiss.

But for metal halide, i'm running the 250w Geissman 14.5k Megachrome Coral, along with 3 ATI BLue Plus and one Purple Plus T5's and that's pretty nice.
