Xenia clean out- Free!

If you have a relationship with a LFS that will give you store credit for pulsing Xenia, I'm cleaning out and can bring you some at the meeting.

I also have some of the pure white xenia that doesn't propogate like the other. It's prettier, and the "fingers" are fuzzy. I don't know the scientific term or name. It's just different.

If nobody wants, I'm throwing it away.

fFrom the description the white slow growing kind is commonly refered to as pom pom xenia.

You have alot better chance of propogating that kind if the tissue from the cut has time to heal before moving it to a new tank while supplementing iodine slightly higher than normal.

Also with xenia in particular it needs a very long and slow drip acclimation....

Just keep that in mind. I have given numerous pieces away and people don't seem to have much luck with it.
